Revelation 12 reveals the heavenly perspective on Christmas and the cosmic spiritual battle behind the nativity: God’s people, the raging dragon, and the victorious Christ. It reminds us that while we live in a real spiritual conflict, Jesus has already won through His life, death, resurrection, and reign, and He now protects and sustains His church. Christmas, then, is not only about Christ’s first coming, but also about standing firm in hope as we await His certain return.
